Miss Ramsey's second graders wrapped up learning about digraphs by enjoying a tasty display of snacks that had digraphs in the name. Students brainstormed different food items for each digraph, drew a picture for each, and created a Digraph Feast mat to eat off of during the feast.
Some food items included: CHocolate chip cookies, alPHabet cookies, WHeat Thin crackers, priNGles, animal craCKers, herSHey's bar, and THumbprint cookies just to name a few!

First grade is a bushel of fun! 🍎 Our classes celebrated Apple Day with hands-on learning, fun activities, and plenty of apple-themed adventures!
Mrs. Standingwater’s class having fun doing a STEM activity building robots! We are currently reading the novel, The Wild Robot.
🍿 4th grade launched their new Reading module, “Come to Your Senses”! 👃👀👂👅✋ Students put their five senses to work as they explored popcorn and practiced using descriptive adjectives to bring their writing to life. What a fun way to kick off our new learning adventure! ✨
Big map, bigger minds! Our 3rd graders put their map skills to the test exploring our GIANT map of Oklahoma today!!
📚✨ Our 4th graders had a Book Tasting! Students sampled different books, explored new genres, and hopefully found their next great read! 🍽️📖💛
Mrs. Underwood and Mrs. Clark's 4th grade classes did a team building project by helping Jimothy! Students worked together, communicated, problem-solved, and encouraged one another as they took on the challenge. Great job, Heroes!

Central Enrollment will be open Monday–Thursday, July 6–16 at Memorial's Welcome Center for families who need enrollment assistance.
Families can continue to enroll online at any time by visiting edmondschools.net/enroll. Enrollment applications will begin processing during Central Enrollment or when school registrars return on August 1.

Our amazing Ms. Sarah is representing Heritage as our Support Employee of the Year! She is a classroom assistant that shines an outstanding light of positivity and joy.
Today, the third grade GATE students put on an adorable book parade! They used Spheros to drive their creative "floats" down the halls, recreating their own version of Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Their inspiration came from Balloons Over Broadway, and they absolutely brought the story to life. What a great day of learning!
Happy World Kindness Day! ☕️✨ 🩷 Heritage 4th grade decorated coffee sleeves with positive messages this week, and Summer Moon on 15th is wrapping hot coffee with their kind words! Stop by for a pick-me-up!

Yesterday we planted and placed kindness rocks in our new butterfly garden just in time to see a couple of monarchs throughout the day!
Second graders at Heritage celebrated the end of their digraph phonics unit with a feast of mouTH-watering snaCKs, and it was deliSH! CHeck out the WHoppers, CHocolates, Sour PaTCH Kids, maNGo, CHips, and more!
