Fitnessgram testing helps students develop lifelong habits of physical activity and health. The test is important for several reasons, including establishing a baseline for fitness level, promoting health, correlating fitness with academic achievement, and promoting physical education.

Our 4th and 5th grade GATE students got to spread a little joy this week by presenting fun and thoughtful Teacher Awards to some of the amazing staff in our building! 💛
From “Heart of Gold” and “Best Listener” to “Fashion Forward” and beyond, our students chose and presented awards that highlighted the unique strengths and personalities of their teachers. The smiles, laughs, and even a few happy tears made this a truly special moment for everyone involved.
It was a wonderful reminder that our students notice and appreciate the little things that make our school such a great place to learn and grow. 🌟

Because of continued isolated icy roads in parts of our district as well as slick and dangerous parking lots and sidewalks, Edmond Public Schools will move to remote learning for all schools for Thursday, February 13th.
Students should refer to information sent by their school site for assignments that will need to be completed for attendance to be counted.
Based on the current forecasts, we plan to be back to in-person school on Friday.
